The Estates at Nona Sound is one of the newest neighborhood developments in the Lake Nona area. It is a small, gated neighborhood of estate style homes on larger than average homesites, planned for 122 homes in total.

It is built by Pulte Homes, the same builder behind VillageWalk and Isles of Lake Nona. It sits directly beside Pulte's townhome neighborhood, The Cove at Nona Sound.

Where is The Estates at Nona Sound and What's Nearby?

It sits off Clapp Simms Duda Road, east of Narcoossee Road, on the southeastern edge of the Lake Nona area in ZIP code 32832.

Getting around. Narcoossee Road is the neighborhood's main artery. Head north and it runs into the core of the Lake Nona area and on to the 417. A long planned Osceola Parkway Extension is intended to reach Narcoossee Road near a realigned Clapp Simms Duda Road, which would add an east–west route close to the neighborhood, but the project has been delayed repeatedly and no opening date should be counted on. For plane and train travelers, Orlando International Airport and the Brightline station are about 5 miles away.

The neighbors. Eagle Creek is on the north side and The Cove at Nona Sound on the west. On the east is a canal running between Lake Hart and Lake Ajay, with vacant land beyond. South is the Lake Ajay Village neighborhood in the Narcoossee section of St Cloud, in Osceola County.

Nearby attractions include the Back to Nature Wildlife Refuge, a short walk from the neighborhood entrance. Golfers have the Eagle Creek Golf Club a short drive away, and Nona Adventure Park is nearby.

Shopping and dining start with the Publix anchored Lake Nona Plaza, just north on Narcoossee. Lake Nona Station and Eagle Creek Center add more dining and service businesses, and there is a wider run of Lake Nona shopping further north.

Schools in the area include Eagle Creek Elementary, Luminary Elementary, Lake Nona Middle School, Luminary Middle School and Lake Nona High School. Pulte currently lists Luminary Elementary, Luminary Middle and Lake Nona High for this community. Assignments are set by Orange County Public Schools, not by the builder, and they change as new schools open and boundaries shift — confirm the current zoning for a specific address before you buy.

There are three collections: Classic, Estate and AllGen. Classic and AllGen plans sit on 50 foot homesites; Estate plans sit on 60 foot homesites. Every plan is built with a 2 car garage except the Serena, the two story AllGen plan, which has a 3 car garage. Five of the 13 plans are single story. Homes are built to order and personalized through Pulte's design studio rather than bought off a finished shelf, so the plan you pick is the start of the process, not the end of it.
