The Isle of Pines is an established community in the southeast section of the Lake Nona area in Orlando, FL. The pristine chain of lakes in the Isle of Pines area and rural style of living attracts residents looking to escape the traditional subdivisions but still like the convenient access to the Lake Nona and Orlando area.
On site amenities are all about natural lake life. A community park featuring a boat ramp onto Lake Maryjane, Pavilion with grills, playground and restroom facilities.
Residents are also close to Moss Park, Orange County's largest park featuring camping, picnic, beach and playground areas in addition to walking trails. The Isle of Pines Community is at the end of Lake Mary Jane Road which is off Moss Park Road. It is approximately three miles from the entrance to the Park - Moss Park. It is approx 6 miles from Narcoossee Road and the heart of the Lake Nona community.
Isle of Pines is still a bit rural. Your closest grocery store will be either the Shoppes at Storey Park or Cornerstone at Lake Hart. Both have Publix Grocery Stores and are about seven miles away. Schools in the area include Moss Park Elementary,Innovation Middle School and Innovation High School.
Isle of Pines Homes - features a WIDE variety of homes styles and sizes. Many were built in the 1960's and there is only an optional HOA so you will see everything from old 1 bedroom homes to massive estate homes. Most homes are on much larger home lots than you will find anywhere else in the Lake Nona area.
There is no specific builder in the Isle of Pines area. There are still residential lot properties available on which you can build your dream home among the pine trees. Homes in the area are on well water and septic tank systems as there is currently no public water/sewer utilities in the area.
