What should you order at Mesón?

Start with a pressed sandwich on criollo bread, such as the Cubano, Medianoche or Mojo Pork, or a breakfast sandwich, which is served all day.

The bread is the signature: a Puerto Rican criollo loaf, grilled and pressed. Named sandwiches include the Boricua and the Caribe, and the Surfer is the vegetarian option. Mallorcas, the sweet Puerto Rican rolls dusted with powdered sugar, are the pastry to try, and quesitos and sorullos are on the snack list.

Coffee is made from 100% Arabica grown in Puerto Rico. The menu changes from time to time, so check the current version before you go.

Does Mesón serve breakfast all day?

Yes. Breakfast is served any time, from omelette sandwiches and platters to hot cereals such as avena.

With a drive-thru, it is one of the easier breakfast stops on the south end of Lake Nona on the way to work or school drop-off.
