The Lake Nona cafe opened in late summer 2017 and is one of the center's anchors. Keke's was founded in Orlando in 2006 and is part of the Denny's family of brands, with dozens of cafes across several states. It serves breakfast, brunch and lunch cooked to order, with gluten-free and vegan options and brunch cocktails. Keke's does not take reservations; use the online waitlist, or order online for pickup, delivery or catering.

On the south end of Lake Nona, Keke's is the main sit-down breakfast chain. It has anchored Eagle Creek Center since 2017.

It is not in Lake Nona Landing, despite what an earlier version of this post said. Eagle Creek Center also holds Don Julio Mexican Kitchen, Pho Haven, Tomasino's Pizza and The Naked Cupcake, so it is easy to pair breakfast with coffee or errands.

What does Keke's serve?

Keke's serves breakfast, brunch and lunch, cooked to order: pancakes, waffles, French toast, omelets, egg plates, sandwiches and salads.

Breakfast is the focus, with lunch sandwiches and salads alongside. Brunch cocktails are on the menu, and there is a kids menu.

Gluten-free and vegan options are available. Seasonal specials rotate, so check the current menu before you go.

Weekend mornings are the busiest time at any breakfast restaurant, and Keke's is no exception. Adding your name to the waitlist from your phone is the simplest way to cut the time you spend standing outside.

Online ordering for pickup and delivery is another option, and the cafe also caters.

Who owns Keke's Breakfast Cafe?

Keke's was founded in Orlando in 2006 and is part of the Denny's family of brands, which acquired it in 2022.

It grew from a single Orlando cafe into dozens of locations across several states, most of them in Florida. Denny's bought the brand in 2022, and Denny's itself was taken private in 2026.

Several Orlando-area Keke's closed in 2025 after a franchisee dispute; the Lake Nona cafe was not one of them.

How does Keke's compare with Sweet Mama's and First Watch?

Keke's is the classic made-to-order breakfast chain; Sweet Mama's is the independent Southern diner; First Watch is the lighter, seasonal daytime chain.

Sweet Mama's at Nona Commons serves Southern comfort food with beer, wine and mimosas. First Watch at Shoppes at Nona Place leans toward a lighter, rotating seasonal menu.
