The Orlando Economic Partnership announced the move on August 21, 2025, describing it as Siemens Energy relocating “its Orlando offices to Lake Nona.” The company leased 242,358 square feet, most of a 278,917-square-foot Class A building that Tavistock calls Lake Nona Headquarters Office Building B. Engineering firm Kimley-Horn and Lake Nona real estate firm Nuview are also tenants, and the building is now fully leased.

Is This a New Headquarters or a Relocation?
It's a relocation of Siemens Energy's existing Orlando office, not a company new to Central Florida, although some coverage described it as a regional or North American headquarters.
Siemens Energy's Orlando roots go back more than 40 years. Westinghouse moved its steam turbine generation business to Orlando in the early 1980s, and Siemens bought Westinghouse's power-generation business in 1998. The company has been based near UCF on Alafaya Trail ever since. The Lake Nona move keeps those jobs in Orange County. Why Is It Such a Big Deal?
CoStar called it the largest office lease in Orlando since 2009 and one of the three largest in the city's history, and it brings thousands of daily workers into Lake Nona Town Center.
Most Lake Nona employers, like hospitals, research centers and training campuses, have been health-focused or specialized. Siemens Energy adds a large engineering and energy-technology workforce to the mix. In February 2026, the company also announced a $131 million Florida expansion that includes an AI digital-grid technology lab, developed with NVIDIA, in its Lake Nona workspace.
What Is the New Building Like?
6876 Marwick Lane is an eight-story Class A office building in Tavistock's Lake Nona Town Center office campus, built with smart glass and upgraded air-filtration systems.
Tavistock lists View Smart Windows, an on-site chiller plant and UV and air-filtration “bio-defense” systems among its features. It's on the same Marwick Lane office corridor as KPMG's Lake Nona Capability Center, a few blocks from the restaurants and shops of Lake Nona Town Center.

The move is scheduled to begin in 2027, and no month or phasing schedule has been published.
