LongHorn Steakhouse is at 12315 Narcoossee Road, Orlando, FL 32832, a freestanding restaurant near Lake Nona High School. It is the only steakhouse in Lake Nona; the nearest alternatives are in the I-Drive, Dr. Phillips and Lake Buena Vista areas. LongHorn was founded in Atlanta in 1981 and has been owned by Orlando-based Darden Restaurants since 2007. The menu centers on grilled steaks, with chicken, salmon, ribs, salads and a full bar. The restaurant offers dine-in, To Go with curbside pickup, and an online waitlist.

Lake Nona has sushi, Peruvian, Turkish and Michelin-recognized Latin American food, but only one place built around a steak. That is LongHorn, and it has the category to itself.

For anything more upscale, you are driving to the I-Drive or Dr. Phillips steakhouses. Here is what the Lake Nona LongHorn offers and when it is the right call.

Where is LongHorn Steakhouse in Lake Nona?

LongHorn is at 12315 Narcoossee Road, a freestanding building near Lake Nona High School.

It is not in Lake Nona Landing, despite what some older listings, including an earlier version of this post, said. Lake Nona Landing is farther north near the SR 417 interchange. LongHorn sits on its own lot with its own parking, beside Olive Garden at 12275 Narcoossee Road.

Whippoorwill Center and Tyson's Corner are a little farther south, so this stretch of Narcoossee Road is one of the busier dining corridors in Lake Nona.

What does LongHorn Steakhouse serve?

LongHorn serves grilled steaks as its centerpiece, with chicken, salmon, ribs, salads, appetizers and a full bar.

The brand says its steaks are fresh, never frozen, and grilled to order. The menu is the same national LongHorn menu, so if you have eaten at one elsewhere, you know what to expect here.

Lunch, dinner and limited-time specials change through the year, so check the current menu rather than relying on an older favorite.

Is there another steakhouse in Lake Nona?

No. LongHorn is the only steakhouse in Lake Nona.

Several Lake Nona restaurants put a steak on the menu, but none are steakhouses. For a higher-end steak dinner, the nearest options are in the I-Drive, Dr. Phillips and Lake Buena Vista restaurant districts, a drive west across Orlando.

That makes LongHorn the default for a steak dinner close to home.

Who owns LongHorn Steakhouse?

LongHorn is owned by Darden Restaurants, the Orlando-based company that also owns Olive Garden.

George McKerrow Jr. opened the first LongHorn on Peachtree Street in Atlanta in 1981. Darden acquired the chain in 2007, and it has grown to more than 500 restaurants.

In Lake Nona, that Darden connection is visible on Narcoossee Road: LongHorn and Olive Garden sit side by side.

Does LongHorn Lake Nona offer To Go and curbside?

Yes. LongHorn offers To Go orders with curbside pickup, and an online waitlist for dine-in.

For curbside, you order ahead and call when you arrive, and the staff bring the order out. The online waitlist lets you add your name before you leave home, which helps on busy weekend nights.

What the Neighbors Know

Residents of Lake Whippoorwill-Hart and Eagle Creek are among the closest to this stretch of Narcoossee Road, and the cluster of restaurants around Lake Nona High School is part of their everyday convenience.
