There is a full bar and lounge with a weekday happy hour, and a Chef's Bar that the restaurant uses for wine pairings and cooking classes. Canvas also sells family meals to go.

Today the market side of Canvas is a Foxtail Coffee cafe inside the building, serving craft coffee and pastries from early morning.

When Canvas opened in 2016, the market next to the dining room sold prepared breakfast and lunch items alongside housewares and local goods. The name has stayed, but the counter is now run by Foxtail Coffee Co., the Orlando-area coffee company that also has a shop in Lake Nona Town Center.

How does Canvas compare with Chroma and Bacan?

Canvas is the waterfront neighborhood restaurant; Chroma is the busier Town Center small-plates spot; Bacan is the special-occasion hotel dining room.

All three are full-service and two of them share an operator. Chroma, also run by Tavistock, is in Lake Nona Town Center and leans toward shared small plates and a lively bar. Bacan in the Lake Nona Wave Hotel is upscale Latin American and the place for a big night out.

Canvas sits between them. It is a step up from a casual dinner but relaxed enough for a regular weekend brunch, and it is the only one of the three on the water. Nona Blue Modern Tavern is the more casual alternative if you want a patio and a bar without the occasion.
